This Blog has been created by friends and family of Alex and Dane as they make their way down the road to recovery, after being struck by lightning 10/5/2010. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers as this road will likely be a long one. Feel free to check back often for status updates on both Alex and Dane, and be sure and leave your well-wishes when you visit. The boys will be shown this blog when they are awake.

Miracle Men!

The title idea was giving to me by Rhonda Tommer who has done way more than just give me a good ideas.  She has been there for us through thick and thin - Thanks for being a great friend and neighbor!

Listening to Alex and Dane give their interviews makes me proud to know them.  No they aren't perfect but Yes they are miracles.  They both struggle with all of this, they didn't want to be struck by lighting and they didn't want the attention, but in a flash that all changed.

    I'm amazed at what they have accomplished. I know things aren't back to the way they were before the lightning strike, and they might never be, but their tenacity and determination to move forward is awe-inspiring. Alex and Dane, you are "miracle men." Rhonda
