Dane had a rough night last night as Chris (his Dad) & Rockie posted earlier, but he has had a great day today. The cardiolist came by and did an echo on his heart and said it looked "perfecto"! That was great news and brought tears to my eyes again because that was one of our initial concerns. He has been able to have clear liquids, popsicles & jello & he has been up out of the bed twice to use the bathroom....(yes the cath is out too)!
I can't believe the strength and determination these guys have. They really are > lightning!!!
THANKS EVERYONE for prayers, well wishes & support and thanks to all of the first responders (you know who you are) who undoubtedly started off this miraculous chain of events!

As a mother I can't imagine what the last few days have been like for you. Your boys are very special young men and it does my heart good to hear they are making such strides in their recoveries. This blog you set up to share the progress of your boys is very generous and I wanted to express my appreciation. Thank you for taking time to update this blog and let others who care about Dane and Alex be informed of their progress. We think the world of them.

In light of everything that has happened, I would like Dane to know that I am now a firm believer in Chrono-Economics. Also who cares what energy is anyway. Energy=x=ability to do work? I think Dane understands energy better than anyone now. keep on the road to recovery and I hope to see you soon.
