This Blog has been created by friends and family of Alex and Dane as they make their way down the road to recovery, after being struck by lightning 10/5/2010. Thursday, October 7- Afternoon news

Has been a GREAT day for Alex. His MRI that was done this morning had positive, good results. He got his burns cleaned and then was ready to be removed from life support. The update is: he is breathing ON HIS OWN!! He is a little agitated and strong- its the Alex we all know & love.

That is awesome! I know there are kids in Santa Clara Elementary fasting and praying for him.

So good to hear. We live on the other side of town and do not know the boys, but have been touched by their story and all the support from students and others. We wish you all the best. Our prayers are with you.
